Voxbulgarica is a resource and music shop specializing in Bulgarian folk music. Shopp allowed us to create an awesome shopping experience with all the features we wanted, almost right out of the box. We’ve also enhanced the sidecart to make it more full featured, added a tabbed interface to the front to flip through new and featured products. The only core modifications added have been to allow personalized text to be printed on PDF files (using custom libraries). The best part about Shopp is the ridiculously easy integration with Wordpress and styling.

Molusk is a French brand that sells contemporary jewelry. I’d been wanting to add an ecommerce store to my WordPress portfolio for about a year. Magento and Prestashop were too complicated to sell a small number of products, and not integrated to WordPress. I found Shopp, as an affordable solution, and although I’m not a web designer, and don’t speak english very well (being French), I’ve succeeded in what I set out to do. The support is very good. On my website, Shopp is used on a separate online shopping section, and is fully integrated with the original design. The most difficult part was to design the product pages, with large pictures and thumbnails, to focus on details. I’ve also used shopp products tags to sort jewels by colors, and I’ve also included a customed random sidebar widget, with my own PHP code. It allows me to see products everywhere on the website. Now, WordPress is a powerfull CMS for me! And it’s very easy to add new products when the template is finished. An English version of this website will be coming soon.

A Shopp-powered store selling digital products namely html/css templates and WordPress themes.

We used category tags to output all featured items and displayed one set with jCarouselLite and another set with jQuery Cycle plugin. This makes it easy to showcase featured products and provide a nice display of them. We used a jQuery accordion plugin to display the product blocks on the catalog page. This makes for a much easier to view condensed view of the Bestsellers, Features, New and Sale Products. The sidecart uses custom Ajax handlers to display what was added as well as what is currently in the cart.

Ruth King is an author, speaker, facilitator, coach, and consultant offering a range of products and services. Her online store needed to integrate perfectly with the rest of her website. Customizations were made to the template files and order emails, graphic cart buttons were added, and a lead in page to the store was created. Other than that and an addon payment module, Shopp takes care of everything!

DBC Media is the media ministry of Denton Bible Church whose goal is to provide messages of the Bible to its church members and the rest of the world. Shopp is powering DBC Media’s site to host nearly 1,500 products of which most have variations that bring the total to over 4,000 items of merchandise. In addition, some products have audio and video associated with them that can be played on the product’s page.

Functionality is straight from the box, but numerous visual tweaks were applied to fit the theme of the site. Though Shopp’s abilities far outstrip the site’s demands, it was the perfect fit for ease of use, implementation and cost effectiveness. And the fact that PayPal Pro integration with SSL was a snap is just icing on the cake.

Shopp was pretty easy to get going. We like it!

The original idea was to use Wordpress and Magento integration where we have a lot of experience. However, after the launch of Shopp, we concluded this would be overkill. Shopp was simply the best solution in our environment.

We use Shopp to sell our online course, book, classes and audio book. We also use it to offer promotions, discounts and more.
