8 Pillars University is a complete learning system that provides real-world financial education. Participants gain a mastery of The 8 Pillars of Financial Greatness by completing the program at their own pace. Visitors use Shopp to purchase a membership which is tied to WordPress user base or books and CDs. The challenge was to make a customization to Authorize.net that accepts recurring billings and on successful checkout that a user gets created with proper permissions.

The original idea was to use WordPress and Magento integration where we have a lot of experience. However, after the launch of Shopp, we concluded this would be overkill. Shopp was simply the best solution in our environment.
