The product catalog is where all of your store’s products are displayed, and is found on the storefront homepage. The storefront homepage (by default named Shop) is used to display collections of products (like categories, or tags) and product detail pages. Each product, category, or tag gets its own sub-page that stems from the storefront homepage. Shopp’s catalog is organized into collections of products. Collections can be based on custom categories, preprogrammed categories or product tags. Menus can then be built that provide navigation to these collections.
Shoppers on your website can add multiple products to your store’s shopping cart to build and manage their order. The cart will recalculate the cost of the order including any discounts, estimated taxes and shipping costs. It will also allow shoppers to manage quantity of items to order, remove items and enter promotional codes.
The checkout system in Shopp is responsible for collecting customer information such as:
- Contact details
- Billing & payment information
- Shipping address
- Shipping method
- Custom order information
