Store managers can enter notes specific to an order to keep track of important internal processing details about the purchase. This can be helpful when communicating special instructions about order handling, or anything else related to the order that might be noteworthy.
Order notes can also be used to send a message directly to the customer. The note will be emailed to the customer and a copy of it will be logged to the order. Notes that have been sent to the customer will be marked in the Order Manager.
To send a note to a customer:
- Load an order in the Order Manager.
- Click the Add Note button.
- Check the box labelled Send to customer.
- Write the note and when finished, click the Save Note button.
